Managing director: Louis Van Bockel

After obtaining a degree in finance and economics, and an MBA at INSEAD, Louis Van Bockel gained his initial offset experience within FMC (now part of United Defense), while working on one of the first offset programs in Europe — the Belgian Armoured Infantry Vehicles — in the 1970s.

In 1980, he started his own company and has developed the offset business as his core activity.

Managing director: Laurence Van Bockel

Van Bockel & Partners Belgium is in charge of all legal issues, the offset database, and offset coordination activities.

Laurence Van Bockel holds a Law degree and has worked
as a trainee in both Canada and the US. She then worked for a notary public before starting her own company in 1997 with as main focus offset related activities.
