Louis Van Bockel

After obtaining a degree in finance and economics, and an MBA at INSEAD, Louis Van Bockel gained his initial offset experience within FMC (now part of United Defense), while working on one of the first offset programs in Europe — the Belgian Armoured Infantry Vehicles — in the 1970s.

In 1980, he started his own company and has developed the offset business as his core activity.

Industrial Cooperation Services (ICS)

Managing director:
Laurence Van Bockel

In Belgium, Van Bockel & Partners collaborates with ICS, an offset services company managed by Laurence Van Bockel.
ICS is in charge of all legal issues, the offset database,
and offset coordination activities.

Laurence Van Bockel holds a Law degree and has worked
as a trainee in both Canada and the US.
She then worked for a notary public before becoming the managing director of ICS.
